Weapons are the primary source of damage in Star Trek Online. There are two main forms of weapons. Starship weapons, are put on board ships and used during space combat. Ground weapons are used during away missions by you and your bridge officers.
The following is a list of weapons in the game.
Ground Weapons[]
The basic ground weapons consist of either Phasers (Starfleet) or Disruptors (Klingon Empire). You can also have Grenades, Mines, and Tricobalt devices (Explosives).
Melee Weapons[]
Starship Weapons[]
Starship weapons are weapons that can be attached to your Ship. Starships can use energy beams, torpedos and mines. Originally equipped with phasers, you have the option of also fitting disruptor and plasma weapons. Torpedos and mines come in different types.
